I really thought seriously about what might have been going through John's (The killer's) head.
I think that once he got the date of his death, and the message that he was at a late stage of cancer, he realized how much life is worth and that there are some people who take it for granted. At that moment he decided to make it his mission to seek out people who are garbage - prostitutes, junkies, gangsters, criminals, etc, and give them a choice to either change their lifestyle and live, or stay garbage and die. He set the course, but he gave the victims a choice to either live or die, not really killing them himself.
This guy is obviously a genius. Someone that smart wouldn't randomly kill and play sick twisted games like that. But, is he an evil genius, or just a person who wants people to learn to appreciate life, and thinks that those who don't, simply do not deserve life.
My personal opinion is that - and don't kill me - he is correct, but not entirely. His ideas are right - people who toy with their lives and take advantage of this gift by using it for extremely negative things, really don't deserve to live. BUT... Who is he to judge? It is nature that gave them life and it is nature that decides when to take it away, and naturally, they will die a miserable death. I think that what the victims are doing to themselves is punishment enough. Criminals can never be truly happy. Druggies can never live over 60 and are quite stupid (hardcore druggies/junkes). Prostitutes are looked at by everyone as garbage, and so on.
What do you think?
