It's like this, most company's are ripping you off, Microsoft could make windows much cheaper, but hey they want to make themselfs richer and richer, and that while lots of people already use copied versions, they are asking way to much.

Besides it's bullshit, they make most profit from companys who buy lots of them.
Just like Photoshop, almost no one buys it, except for company's.
Also Windows (95 and up) never was cheap, even when it didn't got copied.

CDs on the other hand- I actually care about the music business lol so I try and buy as many proper CDs as I can. The fact that they r way overpriced stops me from buyin all the CDs I want tho...
I will buy computer games and stuff if i want to play them online, therefore needing a CD key. I will also buy games that I like coz i dont like having good companies screwed over, altho overpriced packages like windows etc i wudnt pay 4.

oh and btw do you really tink that the get their profits from us? home users :eek: the big moneys is on the companies that they provide with services i would say we r like 10% if that much of their profit
