I even agree somewhat with you.. Women can be bought, though it is seldom material goods they require, not at average rageonze users age anyway. But you'd be surprised at how much they appreciate getting a sweet card / flowers because that means you thought about them.. Attention whores the lot of'm (j/k ;))

It doesn't, such people are obviously to busy with thinking what others think about them, which is why they do this, if they get nothing they feel like a loser, if they get something then they won't, now sure if they send it to themself they will be huge losers, but fact is that people don't know that.
Now personally i don't need to send expensive stuff to myself to feel like a loser.
