Second, I'm a Medical student myself.
While yes, you have the *right* to say whatever you want to your patients as far as insults, etc... One has to remember that Healthcare is a business. If you scare off all your customers, you won't have a very successful business. So, it's not so much legal dispute, as it is morality, and remembering that you're a servent to the public, and the way your patients are treated is a direct reflection of how your practice is going to grow, prosper... etc.
Well, that and karma's gonna come back around and beat the crap outta that Doctor, too =P
