First person means that you are inside the guys head, and the camera is "his eyes". Just like in the games... Thats not whats in this movie :P.

Looks amazing, seen loads of trailers for it and they just get better and better cant w8 to go c it >.< also cant w8 till they get the halo movie done, that would b the dogs bollox.

There's no possible way i'm gonna miss not seeing Doom in theaters. :/ This looks like a kickass movie. And The rock is just cool too. ^_^

I think that DOOM is gonna flop. That first person stuff looks pretty retarded. But yeah if you check the bungie.net place (halo official website) theres some talk on their forums about the movie.

Why do you guys keep saying its first person? First person is when you see the movie through one characters eyes the whole time. Maybe you mean First Person Narrative Perspective.

i just saw it like 1 hour ago, it was fk.in good m8, i like it!!

Naw with the rock in it i think it will kill it. You need good new actors not one that you see every day on Raw is war or what ever it is now.. Also the way there doing the camrea views looked like a game which I didnt like at all. Maybe if it had diffrent actors I would give it more of a chance lol. Dont get me wrong I like doom and all just wish they would of got new actors..

I like the idea of The Rock as an actor :/

I think i know why they used him in DOOM though. lol it's because he's a big built mother fucker who kicks ass!:thumbup: All though i've seen acouple other movies with him in it which kinda sucked so, i'm hoping his performance in this movie is A++. i got stock in DOOM3 game that shit tunnel so i use trainer just to finish the game...hopefully the ROCK wont encounter such one

To be fair I'm not too sure about the First Person view idea, I don't think it'll have the desired effect.

hehhe you mean first person we can only see THE ROCK's hands lower body, and feet... that would be an original since it follows the game concept

isnt there like a trailer where u see the chainsaw thing in a first person type mode?
I know the whole movie isnt (or not at all) in 3rd person, but im pretty sure i saw that trailer somewhere on tv....
