Hopefully they will have made the film accessible to people who weren't addicts of the manga. This will hopefully breathe new life into the series and maybe get a few sequels out of it. :D I loved the manga as much as anyone else but they couldn't just take the manga and make it word for word copy, it would be pointless. I'm happy they took a new spin on it, they do it to books, why not DBZ?

looks alright to me! there are loads u cant do with live action so you just gotta accept we wont be seeing galac beam cannons just yet :P

so long as the fights are well done ill be happy :P

I think I'll go watch the movie before I make a judgement.

Is the anime worth watching? It reminds me of pokemons alot.. Anime for childs.

Wtf! Pokemon holds nada on DBZ! lol.

There's no similarities whats so ever, it's the best made Anime ever created (imo course). All the characters are made well they mix great and the storys are fantastic. Unfortunately I've watched them over and over so many times I've not seen any of them in almost 2years now lol ><.

Yeah with some people they except to see a Final Flash or a Spirit Bomb otherwise they won't watch it.

Thats what I expect after such a long time.
For example they also made a Max Payne movie, and I think I saw some devil shit, doesn't match with the games imo, but I will watch it, like this movie but can't say I'mma enjoy it alot.

Wow, definitely going to be getting that movie illegally...and not ahead of time or anything. Not willing to spend 12$ to support that. Piccolo looks so retarded...well so does everyone else.

Max Paine is a awesome game and personally I'd of thought it have been easy to make a real film of it, with it being a classic mobster revenge story an all.

As for the DBZ film some how being made so the actors could fire mega intense beams and also make it look good just doesn't seem something that can likely be done. But I ain't a expert when it comes to graphics etc. Perhaps why the casters decided to air a film back in the days when powers like that were not shown ?

The car looks like bubble bee from transformers.
Master Roshi never told Goku if he was ready and he needed to do this.
Goku was the one who was always prepared to defend Earth without anyone telling him he needed to do it.
Piccolo looks like some Vampire off of Buffy the vampire slayer.
This is horrible and the future generations will think of the Dragon Ball series as pure crap.


Also the dragon balls don't even have stars on them.
This is a nightmare.

I feel like being one of those people who rally against gay marriage and stuff only I don't care about that i'd rather them focus that anger and rally against this movie.
It needs to be banned from all countries for being extremely horrible.

goku was originally fairly slim and didn't gain greater muscle mass till much later on in the series, the beginning of the series in which this is supposedly set is when goku is a child learning martial arts and attempting to defeat much stronger opponents.

But the way he is now is suppose to be during the Piccolo saga obviously and Goku had a little more muscle mass then this guy does.
It was DBZ when he was huge.

Scratch that I guess you can say hes a reasonable size compared to DB Goku.
