    Drinking?

Just curious, the average drinking age in the US is 21 years of age, Texas more specifically. If someone from another country with lower drinking age comes over to visit for a few weeks (UK, Netherlands, that area). They wouldn't be able to drink would they?

You abide by the laws of the Country you are in, regardless of laws at home.

You would have to show ID, and if you were underage, then, no, no you wouldn't be able to.

Unless your a hawt chick, the guy at the door may turn the other way then :wink_5:

they would not be able to drink in a bar/pub or purchase alcohol, but as far as i know it would be legal for them to drink on private property (e.g. your house)... although this is just from my knowledge of australian law, i am not sure if underage drinking on private property is legal or not in the US.

It's the same here, you need to be 18 to drink on Pubs/outside, and at home/private area there ain't no age limit for drinking.

to drink in a pub with a meal you have to be 15 (in UK) and the staff can still refuse to serve you, you cant drink in a pub/restaurant or buy alchohol until 18.
