That's the whole point of what Energy Drinks are supposed to do, to emit energy... This thread is fucking stupid.

I drink Monster for the taste, and not to get energy as it really doesn't do anything to me.

Which colour. I can't exactly remember which I took (I do believe it was yellow) but it was a HORRIBLE taste!

The sugar and caffeine based drinks you listed are just shit. They pump a shit ton of the two into you giving you a quick energy boost. Then after the effect wears off you feel like shit... I can't stand those at all and not to mention the sugar hurts my teeth.
The type of energy drinks I drink are "5 Hour Energy." Unlike those ones it takes a completely different approach. Instead of giving you a large amount of sugar and caffeine for a quick rush it gives you a large amounts of vitamin B3 (Niacin), B6, and B12. The B vitamins are a natural energy supplement and often given by doctors to patients who complain about a lack of energy. So you can see how this works much differently. Only draw back is that too much B3 could give you a heart attack. So don't be drinking a shit ton of it in a day. Just like drinking a shit town of alcohol will kill your liver.

I don't drink too many nowadays, due to having heart problems (thanks to drinking too many!) I usually just take one or two PEP or Pro Plus, only when I desperately need it or work is a bum.
so it`s easier for me to sleep at night :}

I'm a pretty large man, so it doesn't do much to me, or not that I can feel.. I haven't tried a 5-hour energy, they seem much more efficient than a Monster or something.
