We didn't just have the better players though, even with 1 man down we were playing better, keeping the ball more and having more shots on goal and generally being the better team.

First of all, He didnt "kick" him in the nuts, He stood on them, And if you look he was leaning back so he had to put his foot somewhere.

I never , but I NEVER saw England defending sooo Well on a game , it wasnt the old tactic system that england had , that was noone defending and long balls to the kicker

If you guys didnt had a nice defense line you would had lost before the Penalties

If you saw the game england vs portugal you will see that it had so few fouls, it was a good game, fairplay from both teams. i dont think rooney deserved that red card but why didnt he fell just there, it would be foul against portugal, but no, he had to kick someone first ...

Seeing alot that isnt there :wiggle:, at least not the objective way to see it.

The difference between Netherlands - Portugal and England - Portugal was that the referee knew that he should watch out with all the yellow and red cards (Because he knew the Portugese playstyle after watching Netherlands - Portugal, aka dirty). The referee @ Netherlands - Portugal didnt have control over the match, especially after the portugese started to have a grudge on dutch players after a player injured your poor little C. Ronaldo, that was really professional of you guys (although I have to admit: what that dutch player did wasnt fair play). You guys started to play unprofessionaly. After the dutch players realised it, they started to do it aswell (which was also unprofessional, but hey, what goes around comes around).

All in all, it was one of the worst games ever due to the ref not being professional enough to keep control. And the fact still remains that you played VERY dirty (The only thing we were guilty of was the injury of C. Ronaldo). And you could also see it in Portugal - England. Whenever I think of Portugal, I always think of dirty play tbh. But yea, I guess that's just the way of the game for some teams.

If you dont believe me, just watch the entire game again ;)

I think the Referee didnt liked to be payed in Mushrooms , Oranges and Tulips ;) ( jk ) ( but it was true , 2 members of Holland staff entered the Referee room before the match which isnt allowed ;) )
