First Drive

I just came back from a fun filled day :P

I took my G1 test, thinking I was gonna fail and it ended up being 39/40 (98%)

On the way home (I didnt go to school) my dad dropped my mom home, and we went to a parking lot and I drove for the first time :D

I gotta say the 2 things that kinda felt weirder than I thought were:
a) Steering was a bit different than I thought it would be.
b) The gas pedal was so weird. I knew I would have to press as lightly as possible, but when I did, the vehicle went about 10 meters more than I had first planned :P

Im so excited to start taking courses and get into it, and hopefully summertime I'm gonna get a used Ford Mustang GT convertible (open roof) :D

How was your first drive? What did it feel like, etc?

unfortunatly, my first drive was in a car with a standard transmission =/. But, i got the hang of it pretty quickly. Infact, it was pretty bitchen....

first started driving like 2 years ago (wen i was 14 :P). and even when your going like 5km/h, it seems hell fast when you are driving the first few times :icon6:

was meant to sit for the driving tests to get my L plates during the holidays, but my broke foot really screwed up my plans :cry:

I'm used to playing initial d arcade game so when i was steering in a car, you had to turn it about 5 times instead of just once to go in a direction...... and ye, press throttle as lightly as possible...

Pretty fun tho

btw, i got 100% on my L's test ^_^

I started driving a while ago, now I'm 13 :P, but i havent got much to drive..First time I drove, I went like 10 km/h, second time like 15 km/h and third time like 60 km/h on highway, was like :O. I hope to get more driving to do this year.. driving is sweet.

Well , my first driving was when i was somewhere 11-12 .The feeling was , so exited , so fast (5-10 km\h). Was cool , but only with normal transmission >.<

I hope it was legal for you to be doing that. If not, whoever let you do it is an irresponsible asshole and should be put in jail.

As for driving, when I was 14 I used to race motorcycles with my grandfather at the Isle of Wight motocross club. First time I drove a car I was probably about 15/16 and messed about racing it on my mates farm. Passed my test last June with 4 minors and have been loving it ever since.

Oh yea i remember that in the old days.

I started to drive but i wasnt so good at it, then of felt of my bicycle.
That was my first drive. hehe :P

Well i am not old enough to drive a car, and my dad wont allow me because we could get a ''ticket'' if somebody saw of >_<

I drove like around the block when I was around 13 years old, its was sooo fun but too short :/ now I got promission from school to get my learners but first I gotta take a drug/drinking test and pass it before I take my learners test.

as for myself the only thing ive ever driven is a jetski on holiday and even that was fucking around

ive no urge to get a car at all really, that and i cant afford one

possibly gonna get a bike in a few years when i settle

I drive evryone now and then, I remember the first time I drove... stole my gran dads car, went for a ride in the city with 2 m8s of mine came back gob smacked how awesome it was, we did it again and again and it got boring, now we beg each other to drive coz its boring lol

Got my permit years ago.. And yeah, its still fun, but also takes a lot'a responsability.. Last weekend I went to a concert with a few mates, really sucks not being able to drink because you're the one who has to drive them home.. :(

Then again, going faster then your friends in the other car is kind'a fun still :D

Funny thing it gets old after a while of always doing it. When you have to drive 30 miles to school and 30 miles back every day it gets old fas. :tp:

My first time driving was when I was 9. My mother let me turn the car around for her because I wanted to try. I hit the gas to much and nearly hit my uncles trailer.

Then I learned how to properly drive when I was 14. Kinda boring driving around in a parking lot over and over practecing how to back up and park. The first time I drove on the road when when I was 16 for a driveing lesson and that was different.

Actually I hated to drive until I got my own car. Then I just loved being able to go where ever I want when ever I want. Since it was a 10 min drive or hour walk to any place.

Come to think of it I haven't driven a car for over a month. Damn I miss my car. Getting sick of the stupid public transpotation here in the UK. Wish I had my car. Kind of sad when I think of the fact I'm having my parent sale it. Such a nice 4.6L engine which is unheard of here. :cry:

You do know a 4.6L police interceptor engine is faster then a standard 6L engine. :tp:
Not to mention a normal 6L engine would get me 10 and 14 for MPG compared to my 8 and 12.
