Benteke's good, but honestly Spurs need to aim higher, especially since they have Bale to keep happy. If Spurs bring in higher calibre players I reckon Bale would want to play with them rather than move to join them. Higuain should be in a Spurs shirt, or alternatively another big name, dare I suggest Rooney? Spurs need to buy big to a) keep Bale b) win a cup c) challenge for the top 4

Aye, 16 assists! Cracking wee player, 'Well will miss him!
Re: Football - Summer Transfers
No way on earth we can afford Rooneys wages. Higuain may be possible though, if we sell Ade and clear that 100k per week he was on. Ade has apparently reached an agreement with a Turkish club.
EDIT: Chadli to Spurs as of like 20 minutes ago. Out of nowhere we were linked with him today and already it's official.. so fast, damn. I've never heard of him, but going off Youtube he seems like a bigger, stronger version of Gylfi. We still need a big striker though.

Re: Football - Summer Transfers
Belgian internationalist, not bad. But Lennon, Holtby and Dempsey can all play on the wing so unless one of them's being sold off...
Yeah, Higuain would be that big striker. Adebayor's a waste of money, freeing up his wages would certainly do Spurs a favour.
Re: Football - Summer Transfers
Ancelotti is being a big baby and says that he 'doesn't' want to sell him, but really he wants to squeeze out a few milions more from us.
Also i think ojamaa will get noticed by bundesliga clubs now that he is in the polish league. Lewandowski got noticed by dortmund there!
edit:
Raul Albiol has signed for Napoli for approximately £10m and Sky Sports report that Real Madrid have accepted a £30m offer from Napoli for Gonzalo Higuain. I will honestly be wanting wenger out once higuain goes to some other club. :(
Re: Football - Summer Transfers
I've always called for the head of Wenger, and I'm a City fan. He lacks any sort of ambition, and finishing 4th is his Champion's League trophy. No longer pursuing Rooney, lost out on Higuain and Jovetic, probably not gonna buy Suarez...
Re: Football - Summer Transfers
another manager would actually fucking spend the £70m we have. I think that if he doesnt sign someone massive this season and we dont do good then #wengerout
Football - Summer Transfers
Lmao, good old Wenger.

Who is the biggest signing of your guys' club?
Mines yaya sanogo :*:
Re: Football - Summer Transfers
Have to say Jovetic. Headhunted by most big clubs in Europe, says a lot about him!

A great signing by City.
Re: Football - Summer Transfers
He was linked to arsenal soooo much. I hate wenger.
Re: Football - Summer Transfers
In other transfer news, £30m for Fabregas from United, Higuain's NOT going to Napoli, Carlton Cole's gone to Crystal Palace (why, you have £70m in TV rights to spend now, SPEND IT), Nikica Jelavic could be going to Hamburg, and Arsenal still haven't signed any big names :P:
Re: Football - Summer Transfers
I have a feeling that Giroud is gonna be beast next season. If wenger doesnt get sacked after this season i will throw away the picture with his autograph on it.. I dont really know even why i got it.. i only liked him when we were actually winning something
Re: Football - Summer Transfers
Lmao.
Apparently Baldini is in Valencia for us to discuss the transfer of Soldado.
Re: Football - Summer Transfers
Bernard heavily linked to Arsenal. Its the last chance i give Wenger.
Edit:
Colombia's media suggest that Falcao has lied with his age and is actually 29,
Barcelona will have a new manager soon. Martino will arrive in Barcelona to sign the papers..
I find it soooo ironic how messi said that he wanted martino a few days before
