Credit card is safer than debit if you have Visa or something. There's nothing stopping a thief from stealing your entire money in your debit. Credit cards have limits like it can only be used 3 times a day or something.

No, debit cards are NOT used for savings, they are used to make online purposes. People only put money on them when they want to make online purchases. Credit card limits can go as high as $5k, $10k, and even $20k. I highly doubt someone will be putting that amount of money on a Debit card :)

Also if someone physically gets a hold of your Debit card, they cannot do anything cos it has a PIN number. All you need to do is forge a signature to use a credit card. Most people don't even check it, and 99.99% of them are not trained in spotting a forgery.
