wait im confused, if you get the third strike you still have to pay for your internet service? that is lame

in Europe at least certain countries you sign a 1 year contract with your ISP ( at least the 1st time you sign for that isp , after that 1 year you can leave whenever you want , if you leave before the 12 months you will need to pay the rest of the months you would have till you do 1 year :) )

While in the USA for what i know you always pay per month like 1 month ahead if memory doesnt fail me ( like i do with my landlord in europe ehehe :P )

As for the "stopping piracy "thing the way their going about it is ..... kinda ridiculous. i'll even admit to some piracy is a serious thing, but they way there pursing it, if works: could definitely be a catching trend. It's even abit frightening

Well actually, the more I think about it, there would have to be a punishment for this piracy thing, and just bannin' em won't change a thing. Money is what make people change, so they would still take money from them even if they're banned. And if everyone were to get banned, then the ISPs would make very little money!
