Well remember one thing, kids are a cheap imitation of their parents. So you're most likely to be correct to be blaming it on bad parenting. Although, this isn't always true, sometimes it just is. I seclude myself from such things or just ignore them if possible.

Well where I come from people do this shit for respect, I mean there was 3 of under this bridge last summer having a laugh keeping ourselfs to our self these 2 lads come along as they thought they were intimidateing us as 1 being black and the other thinking he was tough cause he was with someone black. (As for some reason black people are tougher, but funny thing is they bleed just as much with a broken nose. Not being racist.) How ever he comes up saying "allow it bruv dese are wearing carlton colours (the area). Anyway they followed by telling us to empty our pockets and my mate just refuses. So anyway this lad jabs him in the face and starts shouting. So anyway a fight breaks out and my mate is going nuts and he punches this guy and just starts stamping on his head which I do find wrong, how ever we found he had a knife. The other guy just ran off, so anyway 4 days later we were all walking home from school and there was a group of around 8 of them all running after 3 of us so we were running we jumped on a bus and a month later 1 of my mates was beaten by 7 people which bought 5 convictions as it was caught on camera.
Thing is, these can't fight on their own and if theres 1 then they won't say anything. They are a bunch of fucking arseholes but unfortunatley I suppose im ABIT of a hippocrit as I some times (in certain areas) do like to be in a larger group simpley cause I do feel safer. With knifes on the streets being a bigger issue, it is danegerous.
Nowadays , those kids/teens who joined groups or gangs because they think it's cool. To be honest , those bullys/gangster are extremely stupid and childlish . Just because they think it's cool , doesn't mean that they can bully/beat people up they want.
