That's not completely true.
First all most people are less disturbed by women, for 1 people aren't confronted by it so easily, when men are walking around armed you know they are gay, when women do it it just means nothing, most of the time they are just good friends, 2 women don't find other women disgusting or something, whereas men don't give a opinion about another men because it makes them feel gay, women simply don't have that problem, because of them not feeling gay about it i also believe they aren't that disgusted by the idea that women could be attracted to each other.
However don't confuse this with that they aren't disgusted of the idea to be 1 of those women themself, because alot are, so most women aren't really disgusted by lesbians, men love lesbians (twice as much of everything ;)) where as men are disgusted most of the time of gay men, and women quite often aswell, for 1 the whole putting a dick in another man's ass isn't a popular image...
Still they are equally accepted, although alot of men claim they dont accept gay people, but in reality they do, but they feel if they admit to anything related to gay people then they feel like they are gay...
naturally and biologically ppl are born straight but through out their lives especially trhough puberty their sexuality develops and changes. Lesbianism is not really thout of as wrong because they don't really have sex just finger each other but with gay men it's ppl are more uncomfortable with it because the men are actually penetrating and are doing what should be the creation of a child but instead they are just giving each other pleasure.
most lesbians are bisexual because they have experienced both and have no preference.
Gotta say I disagree with you there Nik mate, Most people that are gay don't want to be gay, but there just born that way most of the time, some people turn gay from bad experiences with women, but most of the time people are born gay. Imagine if one of your best mates tomorrow comes out with 'Nik i'm gay', or even if you have a brother or something who says the same thing, you wouldn't want them shot. Lots of people are secretly gay, I mean I could never imagine doing what they do as a straight man, but as long as they don't try it on with me or something, i've got no problems. Gotta broaden the mind man.
