Hey all, don't know how many of you live in England are just getting your GCSE's through, but i've just got mine so I thought i'd make a thread on it!
My results;
Science - B
Science double award - B
English - B
English Literature - A
Maths - B
Geography - B
Business Studies - C (Not sure how that happened as in my mock I got an A*)
Art - C
History - C
And finally ICT - A
Hope everyone is happy with their results, i'm over the moon as I got what I needed to get into college :D
nice one i managed to get myself 13 A* - C at GCSE (you get 2 B's for double award science)
I'm guessing us in scotland who got our standard grades can't comment then? =(

English: C
English Lit: C
Geography: C
German: C
Overall Science Grade: B
Maths: A*
Additional Maths: A
Religious Studies: C
ICT: Merit (B)
Would of thought i would of done better. But i got what i want and im not really bothered.

We could have done Religious Studies, but they cut it out for my year, so I never got to do it unfortunately.
Ok then, remembering that our grading system is completely different from the english gcse's:
SG English: 2
INT 2 computing studies: A
SG Maths: 1
SG Technical Studies: 1
SG Graph Comm: 1
SG Geography: 1
SG Administration: 1
Umm hopefully that means something to you guys ^^, i don't fancy explaining the system.

1 is the highest , umm a 1 i believe is like a GCSE A give or take.
1 -2 is a credit << best
3 - 4 is a general
5 -6 is foundation (couldn't obtain this as i wasn't sitting any foundation levels)
7 ... you've failed.
Mine fucking sucked, although I got the GCSE's i wanted where i wanted most for A Levels:
Maths: A (needed for double maths)
RS: A
English Lit: A
Biology: B in both exams, my E in coursework brought me down to a C (they fucked up our coursework and never gave us the other part of it in all sciences)
Physics: B in both exams, overall C
Chemistry: C in foundation, max marks (Teacher helped us with our coursework in this class ;-))
Got C's in everything else, where as I got B's in almost everything in the mocks, so I dropped a grade in finals which is rather depressing. Including a C in my Welsh GCSE I did 2 years earlier
Only one I got a D in was ICT because they left us without a teacher for 1 and a half year so i failed my second coursework, losing out my 30%, was predicted A*
Overall, I wish I picked up a book now, but never mind I got the A's where i needed, so I shall take it from there and hopefully do better in my A levels in a better school :).
I did much better than I expected :P hadn;t done any work or revision for the whole of the course.

I'm not sure how I got the English ones, I slept through the majority of the lessons, reminder to any year 10's starting, games are fun, but not when they make you fall asleep the next day! Lol.
