lol that looks awesome , Brb Restarting
Damn, why am I using XP Home again?
Oh yeah, I just remembered. I believe that doesn't reserve your internet bandwidth. It reserves 20% of your total network interface bandwidth. So if your using 100Mbit ethernet it will reserve 20Mbit. At least that's what I think it does, I havn't really looked into the windows QoS much and theres a lot of false information out there on it.
It only works when you are downloading updates. So it figures out how much your connection is and then restricts the normal connection to 80% to allow the updates to come through in a timely fashion.
SO if you don't update it'll never have to work.
It also limits the dl speed of the updates to 20% also. So it wont over take your normal downloads. ;)
NoPeace - out
seems interesting.. but i doubt it takes bandwidth
it work o.O
Cs Source ping ~ 120-80
New ping after delete the 20% ~ 10-30
Lolz.... Do i nid to restart after configure it? It doesnt call me to restart either =.=
easy way = when instaling XP , remove the QOS from the network :P
no need for this shit eheh , beside even certain routers do have it enabled
Lol at those who "feels" the difference where there is none :)
its on their mind :P
but it really depends , i believe that if you do have qos enabled and you do have a DECENT router/switch it will go by the qos rules , if you disable it it will remove the qos rules , which honestly they suck
i use them when i wanna browse and wanna fuck my roomate connection :P quality service for http , downgrade the rest
No difference =/ Thanks for the tip though :)
