Who all feels that Gladstone should stop calling people idiots?

Who all feels I should stop making logical conclusions that possibly differ from what a person intended to say?

Who all feels Gladstone should start citing his sources from now on?

Who all feels that it should be made mandatory on these forums that you have a doctorate in the field concerning a debate, in order to be allowed to debate in such a thread as concerning said debate?

Who all feels I am egotistical (I am, so everyone better reply to this!)?

Who all feels Gladstone and I should find a way to come to terms without things being forcefully escalated into flame wars, rude behavior, and disrespect?

That is the worse idea ever. I don't have any official "doctorate", however I am able to debate on par with both you and Gladstone on many topics.

Well, I tried calming Gladstone via private message awhile back, and that didn't seem to work. Hopefully, this thread will allow people to critically analyze why he always resorts to name calling and how I can avoid making logical conclusions that differ from what others intended to say.

Flaming and arguing is the result of people getting emotional or making things personal. I am seeking constructive criticism on how to stop it. I use ragezone as a side stop to entertain myself in the debate forum, and other sections here, and of late it has been spoiled by these constant squabbles between you and myself.

If someone calls you names and becomes too emotional on these forums just ask a mod to block them from the debate forums for a little while.

As long as there is the proof than they should...

Is it not a rule to keep a debate to a....debate, and NOT a flamebait?


And if he is flaming and insulting people over a debate on the internet you can at least be guaranteed of two things:

1. His opinions don't matter all that much.

2. Depending on what the debate is on...you can easily ignore him.



Granted I have gotten to be a little bit..."emotional"(usually end up disagreeing and flame baiting), that usually only happens when it is over a very touchy subject like a form of Human Rights or Civil Rights.

Which IMHO if someone disagrees with something that is obviously good in the majorities eyes but bad in their eyes(them being a minority)...then there is something wrong and they probably aren't listening to reason. So you have to slap em' around a little.
