There is a huge difference.
Pictures/statues/drawings of Jesus are not "illegal". Pictures of Mohamed are. They don't even have to be doing anything with it, just a picture depicting him will be considered offensive.

I would just give up if i were you, i can without hesitation say that I've had more exposure to Muslims and the Muslim culture/religion, than you ever will in your entire life.
