right, i'm not gonna go into detail but i'll tell u what 5th nov represents. Its called Guy Fawkes' night and it's about the gunpowder plot in 1605, when a bunch of catholics decided to plot to kill the king and hopefully regain a catholic country. They were gonna do this by blowing up the king whilst he was inside palace of westmister. The man called Guy Fawkes was caught red-handed underneath with gunpowder. he was then found gulity of treason and he was then tortored and excueted.
We now celebrate this by a bonfire and fireworks to represent the attempt of the gunpowder plot.
No1 is completely sure whether we celebrate his attempt or his exceution.
i may b a little wrong with some of this but it's the jist of it :eek:
Why not tie ya pets to the fireworks? That way ya get to see em both !!
