    Goodbye Euro Mir2

    http://www.digital-bros.net/en/ir/do..._30Sep2007.pdf

Firstly Digital Bros own GameNetwork, and this is their official site. This is their quarterly report that they have to provide as a company detailing what they have been doing and how successful they are.

To save you from reading it all head to page 55. I'd quote it but they have made it non copyable and I cannot be bothered to print screen and put it through an OCR program :p

I'd have put this in the gaming section but I think it's more important than that. Mir2 is what created RZ and it's a big part out what we are. It will be a really big shame to see it go, even though it's death is probably in some part to be blamed on mental, lol.

Goodbye mir2, I shall forever remember you for your Easter Event. Did anyone hear a clucking? :lookaroun

Edit: Just noticed this was my 5000 post, quite apt I think :)

Ah well, guess this is what happens when half your gms/mods leave to run a p-server lol

Farewell Mir, I won't ever forget the time it was hacked by "Vanz" and everything went tits up :icon6:, still got the screenshots somewhere.

Just thought, Mir's the reason why I'm here too so it's a shame it has to go.

    GODapocalypse (sp?)
He took the character over from the original person.

Beta must have been like 7 years ago, RZ already exists for over 5,5 years.

Definetly got a lot of memories from that game, maybe we can use this though, and set up a awesome server and get some donations in. ;)

Wow, never really got into the game, and i came here for MU, but without Mir, RZ may not have even been here which would be absolutely horrible. These forums are amazing and over the four years i've been here, they have been a big part of my internet activities.

Ah well, it was inevitable. What I am surprised to see is that nobody has posted this on the official LOM forums - I had a quick look and there is nothing about it, not even by the staff.

I don't think that too many of them are going to be happy about this news, lol.

Still pretty shocked this has happened, but I guess nothing truly lasts forever but it will be remembered none the less :). In reality though, if things go to plan with RZ's Mir2 server then this may put alot of pressure on me in the future =x lol.

    Re: Goodbye Euro Mir2

Well i came here because MentaL kept advertising it on the official forums. Then when i checked it out i saw that RausMauz was a mod here, and he's actually the reason why i played LoM. Though when i joined he was inactive and was shortly after removed from mod.
