$9.50/hr isn't bad at all when you're under 18. Congrats!
Ty good sir I'm so exicted xD all to keen to start earning some $$
Woolworths over here (when it existed) was a cheap-ass toy/DVD/miscellaneous crap store, not quite a supermarket! Was the king of the High Street before it liquidated! But well done mate :) aye not bad pay either!
Is this your first job?
$9.50 is a good start.
It's a bitch finding a job out here.
I thought Woolworths went into administration?
You gotta start somewhere, $9.50 isn't too bad for Australia.
I started at McDonalds for $6.57 an hour, worked for two years whilst completing school, took about two months off after finishing school, wasn't doing anything so went off to the industrial area whilst still deciding what I wanted to do, worked as a factory hand earning about $800-$1200 a week (for an 18yo that was a lot of money to me), ended up quitting because it was just to repetitive. Took a job as a document runner for a customs & freight forwarding company, did the course and earning big bucks now, when I've reached my 10 year mark my goal is to be on about $150,000 a year before tax - obviously when the market is going to change so my wage goal will adapt.
Not in Australia, they have the biggest range of supermarkets, own petrol stations, own liquor shops, own the biggest hardware stores.
I think they even have a stake in poker machines or something.

2 dollars = 1 week

I'd rather go to Hollywood and dress myself as Spider Man and get paid 1 dollar per picture
Gratz!!
Our minimum wage is 9.50.
So I make about 700$ from the stampede every year.
Congratulations! Alot of people you're age take there time to sleep/relax/fap after school, but your doing something before you even need to really. Your making quite a bit for someone your age, too. Congratulations.
Wait, Am I making the same amount as you? o_o
I went straight into labour work earning $50 a day, then a few years down the track ended up at $200 then I worked on the mine site earning $280 a day, then now I work for a concrete plant (holcim) i think my rate is 23hr? and I'm getting a pay rise soon.. plus I work over 220hours a month(including dt and time half + benefits).. and get paid monthly. I earn roughly 6k a month..
and fuck I don't know anyone lazier then me, but it's not about what you know its about who you know ;).
Half way through induction having a break and smoko xD
I thought you were underage, you're not allowed to smoke... or you're smoking sausages?
Anyways, goodluck with ur job.
Good job lol.
be good there and work long long
I know people that are looking for job for 2 years and i see this...
You know that 9$/hour here you'd be considered... well not rich but you could live well under the circumstances of this miserable country i live in they call it... Portugal.
But my life goal is to be a soccer player and to earn atleast 100,000$ per week i dream to play for Real Madrid.
Our minimum wage is about £6.50 lol..
$9.50... Is that even legal? My fiance works at Target @ $21/h and she just started 3 weeks ago. I know for above 18 the minimum is like $16 or something, surely under 18 isn't that low?
DAFUQ!? $9.50, i have the same work and i work for €4.50 or something like that... Well it's not bad though
