Got any tips on a good movie?

This movie won the Academy Award for Best Picture, along with five other Academy Awards during the 73rd Academy Awards ceremony. If you still don't know the name of the movie I am talking about than let me give you one more hint. It stars Russel Crowe. I am talking about Gladiator indeed.

A Beautiful Mind, Cinderella Man and American Gangster are other great example of Russel's acting.

a movie i enjoyed was "The Protector". One of the best martial arts movies iv ever seen. It's Tony Ja from Ong-bak. Story isn't that great, but if you want action, that has it.

If you plan to watch I Am Legend, don't. I see absolutely no reason why it is so highly acclaimed. It was not that amazing. After reading the book (well i'm about 3/4 through but still) I can easily tell you two things: The movie does NOT deserve to share a title with the book and the movie does a terrible job of portraying what happens to a man when he is alone and desperate for that long. Also the story that the movie tells is just plain mediocre. Go watch Southland Tales, 3:10 to Yuma, Shoot 'Em Up, or Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle. Now those are some great movies.

iv never read the book, but it is one of the best movies ever to be in theaters IMO. it's one of those movies like 300 which you HAVE to see in theaters, i thoguth it was excellent.

American History X, The Butterfly Effect, The Manchurian Candidate. The newest film i've watched which was 'Horton Hears a Who' was better than I expected as well, i loved it! But the first thee movies i mentioned are probably my favorite :P
