Got effed by the bank

So this monday I got paycheck as expected and went to bank to deposit it. All good until same evening I notice that there is no deposit listed online. I call banker, yell at them and they open claim. Next day I got to branch where I made deposit. The banker who did deposit doesn't work there anymore, huh what happened? Oh forgot to tell the best part, on tuesday I was supposed to write a check to pay off house downpayment (slightly over 14k). Anyway they deposit the amount to my account and I get a check for downpayment.

Today (wednesda morning) I check account and it looks like the 4k they deposited (on tuesday) doesn't show anymore. And the best part, my credit line is used up, checking is in negative...

Well someone is getting fired today again.

The 4k that I deposited on monday is still in process of investigation. By the time they are done, my credit history will be fucked.

Credit history can be changed by them, that's not a problem. You'll probably have to lodge a claim with them once the issue is resolved and they can have their own credit rating against you amended. As for the money, give them time and they'll fix it.

Though asif not just have your pay deposited straight into your account. Cheques take days to clear, when my employer pays me it hits my account 15 seconds later.

Yes, usually when I get my paycheck deposited it is available within minutes. Well of course if it's deposited to my account and not someoneelses

wow, banks do my head in.
I got effed (not as badly as you, but still effed)
They upgraded my account from a cashbuilder, to a current account (for some reason I wasnt allowed a current account, then randomly gave me one)
They failed to tell me that there was a overdraft, but i get charged £30 a week for being in the over draft..... I get paid, and ALL my fucking money has been taken by the goddam bank. (only did a days work but still) I was left with £5.

I hope that they start finding thier brain cells soon, and fix thier cock up mate.

Your credit history can always be modified so don't worry about that. Get a good lawyer, you can be compensated for the headaches. There are a lot of court cases where people are awarded settlements because of someone's mistake fucking up their credit score.
