Ok I'm done with the puns now, heh. The most shocking thing about this whole ordeal is how ordinary the attacker seemed before he hacked the guys head off. His boss described him as a model employee, and he was even talking and smoking with some of the other passengers on their break. So eerie. I really wonder what caused him to suddenly snap like that.

I can really only think that he would be hallucinating something terrible when this all went down.
He cut the guy's ears, part of his lips, and nose, and put it in his pockets...he started eating him.... it really doesn't seem like something a conscious person who was described as an average down to earth person would do, even under the worst situation.

Something was frying his brain pretty bad, and to top it off, he clearly understands what he's done, and he himself doesn't want to live anymore, perhaps because he can't cope with what he's done...or just wants an easy way out after being caught...not that there was any plan of an escape at all.

It's not uncommon for people who are mentally ill to hallucinate that they are the devil or god, and that what they are doing is right...and remember nothing like that actually happened in real life. Meaning that cutting him up might have appeared as something else in his mind...

Warning, the text below contains gruesome details of a recent murder.

A senseless and disgusting murder that happened here in Canada, in a Greyhound bus.

On a long ride in a Greyhound bus, in the middle of the night while almost everyone was sleeping, the suspect started to stab the victim repeatedly in the neck, for no apparent reason.
The victim was the passenger next to him.
He stabbed him in the neck enough times to decapitate him (some witnesses said well over 40 times).
During the whole time, the man was screaming, which was often described by the passengers as a mix between a loud dog yelp and a baby crying.
The passengers described the suspect as being very calm while stabbing the 22 year old victim.
All other passengers quickly got off the bus, and trapped the suspect inside.
By that time the victim was dead, and the suspect trapped trying to get through the front and back doors.
The passengers called the police, and trapped him inside by holding the doors closed, soon after a trucker came by and helped them, by
equipping them with crowbars, and other tools. The suspect took the head of the victim and displayed it to all the passengers outside.
And when the police arrived, the suspect started chopping the victim's body up, and eating it.
