Anyways, that's just the tip of the Iceberg regarding video game heroes more popular than Master Chief. Sure, Halo 3 is probably the biggest release of 2007. But, as far as the biggest release of the decade? Or for the 360? I got my hands on the Call of Duty 4 Demo and the multiplayer gameplay is by far better than Halo 3's multiplayer beta.

well considering that Mario, Sam (thats what I call her) and snake have been at out for 2 decades, Master chief has made a big Impact for only being a 6 year franchise.
I cant say anything about Call of duty 4, only seen videos.

lol exactly. I'm sure Halo 3 will beat CoD4 in storyline at least. As for online i'd say its a tie for me. both are really jsut shooting at people like crazy. CoD4 just has perks now. But to answer Perks, Halo3 has the new suits. Both are going to be pretty customizable from what i've heard. W/e Halo3 is pretty insane.]

EDIT: to answer the Link and Mario and Sam being better than Master Chief. I said this generation (as in of gaming). Link, Mario and Sam have beena round for ages. Mario doesn't count as a hero to me. We have absolutely no real good story behind, no emotions, just a plumber jumping on shrooms and while fun to play, he isn't a full on hero. But anyway Master chief rules and is the new cool guy on the block.

Actually you would need to bold the Demo for Call Of Duty 4 as well. Since both are pre-releae versions, it's a fair comparison.

As for the storyline, I have no doubt that the Halo 3 campaign mode will just as intense as the previous two. But, that's not what atracts gamers tbh. An fps nowadays is based entirely on their online/multiplayer modes.

well for CoD4 at lot of people in my friendlist say it feels like battlefield but better graphics and more customazy your character and all...well what I am really exicted is...The Elephant! WooT!!

IF there should be a REAL character that being for ages giving us fun, fights, war and destruction... its KANE!

and that is the unfortunate truth. while multiplayer is always great (well most of the time) people simply can't appreciate a great storyline when they see one. What happened to the days of PS2 and the gameboy? Golden Sun, The Zeldas, FF, Kingdom Hearts, Jak, (these games mentioned because they just happen to still be visible past my 360 games, theres more than just these) all the games that were single player and yet still loved because they were awesome.

Awesome videos, make me want to play it even more. Halo 3 FTW.

Demo's are usually rips from the full finished game unless stated when the game is loading. So you could bold it but my point is i hate when people bash on betas :P.

Dammit, I really want to play Halo 3 now!, Halo 2 was awesome.

Willing to do it if you are willing to wait til the weekend lol. I'll only play like an hour when i get it and then i have to go back to doing all this crap i have for school. Don't get a chance to play til Friday after school at Game Club for which i organized a H3 lan and then the rest of Friday night when i get home.

Id much rather a PC to a console any day. I just cant stand not having a mouse and a keyboard, and normally multitasking games, msn and reading websites. I bought a wii and have used it about 10 times max, sure it was a nice gimmick but all consoles last me 5min before i get bored to death with them.

Oh and dios i agree, kane FTW!!!!

My brothers gonna beat Halo 1 and Halo 2 by the time it's released. =D

Anyway, did anyone see the link I posted? You can look around the entire place the old man is looking at. =D
