If cops busted everyone for weed around where I live, they'd be at the station every night doing 5 hours of paperwork after their shift and still not finishing.
If they can't use you lying about weed against you then its not worth it for them to arrest you or do anything. Cops detaining us for smoking weed on a private property, searching our house without consent, then forcing us to take drug tests is a huge violation of our rights lol. Makes me glad to live in the US.
