    Help all you people with webspace - Need advice

    As you know, I have www.recon.741.com - but at the moment it has loads of ads and pop-ups etc. I am looking to upgrade my account, but I'm not sure if I should do it with that company.


    Can anyone give me any reputable companies in which I can buy webspace with, which is simple to use.

    MentaL's dad does i believe only bigger hosting, so that's not smart because ofcourse the prices of that are much higher too.

    Anyway http://www.web-mania.com is pretty nice, a friend of mine hosts his blog on it, i know that doesn't take much space and all, but the site is really fast, and i never seen it down.

    U Can't Upload Music Unless Its Your Own, So Most Companys Wont Let You Do That.

    For Games, IE Ripped Games, That U Downloaded, Nono
    For Game, IE ProArcade, Web-mania Is Best Option, But U Will Need A Domain Name

    They can also arrange a domain name there, so that's not a problem.

    My site's only had 100 visitors though at the moment.

    I really don't want to be buying something that may end up a waste. :(


    Anyways I can promote my site first? I know I need to add some content and stuff but could I promote it on Google and stuff?

    Btw it takes some time before it shows up on Google.

    And well the web-mania can't be such a waste, i mean a year long for 20 quid.

    If you later don't use it then you could always upload some porn for us on it. :D

    You will need to add meta tags to your site (in the head tag) for google to pick up on it. Words that are repeated a few times and have something to dowith ya site n what it does.... e.g. Counterstrike and Clan would be good ones hehe.

    If you dont put the meta tags in then chances are google with either not pick up on it at all or just dump you at position 1000000
