Nope, I wasn't doing either.

I don't see a need in a folder like that, you can stream pretty much anything. I mean the only real reason I see having a folder is if you wanted to go into offline mode or lost you're internet connection.

Streaming is unreliable, porn gets deleted from it all the time.
Steaming is often in a lower resolution.
It's harder to skip through the boring parts.
Sites sometimes don't stream fast enough.
A lot of porn can not be found at all on streaming sites.

Tell that to the rest of the millions of ppl in the world, a porn folder is a common thing.
Not everyone has unlimited hardcore fast internet, not everyone has access to the net all the time.
And don't forget the slow 56k days and under 1mb net days...but I'm guessing you were properly a late bloomer to the internet porn of those days.

And as gohan said, things don't last forever on a site(specially a imageboard site), so the whole "right click > save as" thing is widely known, and of course putting it in to a folder makes things more organized.

ps. Also some ppl don't like to have a record of them visiting a porn site in their browser history(or they hate clearing it every time), and ppl move on from porn site to porn site all the time. So they grab and save much as they can and leave.
