Holywood destroyed , should we pitty?

According to several resources nowadays piracy costs billions and trillions dollars , and looser is Hollywood. Most of the movies are pirated before it even comes out on DVD.

After I heard about this , I no longer wonder why they really want to stop piracy , but are they really that poor? The thing with games have been resolved with the help of consoles , because not everyone knows how to softmod their console to play pirated games , but you can't make people buy movies only on consoles , nor to watch it on consoles only instead of cinema. I am no angel myself.

Hollywood poor? They're anything but poor, and I don't understand what they are 'losing' here, you can't lose something you don't have in the first place, they can, however, manipulate your mind into thinking they are and they are good at it, especially their actors which seem to be the best ones in the world at doing so.

And if they truly like making films for the pleasure of it then nobody is stopping them, it's not like they currently don't have the money to do it.

It's all lies. Hollywood makes more money now than ever. Piracy has no effect on Hollywood hence why they are breaking records.

I call "bullshit". Have you heard of 3D movies? I bet they make shitload of money for it, besides, before it comes out on DVD the movie is fucking crap, it's cam and it's horrible to watch.

IF their movie is worth going to the cinema then they won't "lose" any money, if they EVER were losing money it's not because of piracy but because of the bullshit they're producing, I watched project X which seemed promising, then I realized it's pure shit.

Please assure me that you're joking? You really didn't know why they didn't want to stop Piracy? Wauw. Piracy has been a problem for decades and has been growing near enough every year. Obviously it's going to cause problems, but one place that for sure isn't going to go to pirated versions, Schools. I'm sure they make thousands off the schools each year for buying films anyway, so they're hardly missing out. Not to mention that all the big fans of the films are going to want to buy it legit. By god, you wouldn't believe how much Trekkies spend on their Star Trek films each year, you'd be astounded.
