How is RaGEZONE so populated?

The answer to this question is obvious.

Answer = 42.

I do not mean to initiate epic lulz from this post. I mean to spread the answer to the ultimate question.

RaGEZONE is so populated because of all good MMORPG sections

(spec Habbo section :D)

Was in a guild with MentaL on mir 2 Phoenix called DigitalDoom in about 2002, he told me about the forum and here i am 8 years later lol.

It was a big mir developing forum then

RageZone is soo populated because it has its own servers, It has development for alot of popular games. Its been out for long and has alot of good programmers here that can help noobs with issues so they all tend to come here.

All I remember about him, is his band, and when I heard that he died on a fire or something. I guess when Dan noticed that the forums had grown up and had some knights in a shining armor and maids in a dress to look out, he would not take care of it much of what is he doing before.

I never said its flat. Everyone knows America is on the West and Australia on the east as thats what the flat map says, and probably also because of the International Date Line that cuts the days between nights of the countries thats set on the middle of the Pacific ocean.

So if anyone talks about countries' locations, america is always at the right side, Australia at the left, between them is all the continents from Asia to Europe.

That would be fine, if it wasn't for the fact that to go from USA to Australia or vice-versa, you don't go all the way over Asia and Europe, you just cross the ocean.

Yup, because thats the shorter way to travel, but that still doesn't change the fact that america is on the west side, and autralia on the east side. We don't base our directions on which way a plane travels, its the geography we're basing it.

Geographically the world is round, going "east" will take you completely around the globe and right back where you started, and so will going "west". Someone "decided" to place the date line where it is, and it has absolutely no geographic relevance, other than the Pacific ocean being the biggest empty space we have.

By your logic, Australia wouldn't be classed as a "western" country. Which it is.

On topic, the main reason is that RZ is the original/oldest that is still around, the forum can really only get bigger in size. (content wise)

IDL has a great thing to do with geography:

While the world is divided into 24 time zones, there has to be a place where there is a difference in days, somewhere the day truly "starts" on the planet. Thus, the 180° line of longitude, exactly one-half way around the planet from Greenwich, England and 0° longitude is approximately where the International Date Line is located. Cross the line from the east to the west and a day is added. Cross from west to the east and a day is subtracted.

Without the International Date Line, people who travel west around the planet would discover that when they returned home, it would seem as though an extra day had passed. This situation actually happened to Magellan's crew when they returned home after their circumnavigation of the earth.

Neither the Prime Meridian or the date line have any geological reasoning behind their existence. The prime meridian exists as a reference point which later became internationally recognized, and the date line is there as it's opposite. They are completely arbitrary for anything other than telling the time/date.

Compass directions (not magnetic compasses themselves just the directions used) rely on location and perception, if you're in Australia the US is to the east and vice versa but I guess since everyone knows that america is in the west logical reasoning doesn't matter because clearly if everyone knows it it has to be correct but saying that didn't everyone know that the world was flat and if you went over it's edge you'd be lost forever?

Oh and for your information 2D world maps change depending on the country you're in as it is common practice to put the country that the map is from in the centre of said map and position the other countries accordingly though this practice has become less and less used due to standardization and easier understanding when read.
