Thats what the nickname function is for, change the contacts name to anything you want.

msn has a nickname function!!!!

i have 209, talk to quite a few of em often as well.

If you right click a contact on your list then select edit contact, in the nickname box put the real name of the contact or whatever you want it as and it will stay like that even if the contact changes his/her display name.
