Well HD standards requires both 720p and 1080i. Also I can tell you don't know crap about TVs when you say 1080i is worse then standard TV. I never new that only 240 alternating vertical lines produces a better picture then 580 alternating vertical lines.

Anyways Kaoii. I would suggest getting a 23" Samsung, Sony, or LG in that price range. Though you can get 26"-32" TVs by the same brands if you get last years models. Which in all honesty looks just as good. Hard to tell the difference between 10000:1 contrast and 15000:1 contrast or higher.

based on my personal experience this is the case, and nothing you can say is gonna change that now is it

So I've looked through about 5 or so websites from the US with monitors. And I'm starting to think there is no way in hell you're going to get a TV Monitor larger than your current unless it's either already used or called Samzungh shipping from Korea.

I'll keep looking and see if I find something. But what's wrong with your current?

If you're looking for someting smaller I still think this is the best monitor there is for that price range, from what I've seen so far.
