I saw Goblet of Fire.... *SPOILERS*

Last night @11pm I went to see Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and it was AWESOME. Biggest line I've ever seen for a movie, was wrapped around the building, longer than any Lord of the Ring's/Star Wars/Matrix lines I've been in.. I dressed up like a witch and got some free goodies....

The movie itself was my favorite so far, they omitted some things from the books of course, but they have to do that.. Nothing was changed too badly (unlike PoA, where they didn't even tell the story of the mauraders map) and the actors were the best they have ever been... I wish they showed my Sirius tbh

    Anyone else see it? thumbup:

I haven't seen it yet, probably will do though. I've read all of the books, the fourth is arguably the best of the series. I was expecting this to be a very good film. IMDB has it rated at 8.2/10 atm which is very good.

Was it as Good as the 3rd? or as happy and childish as the first and second?

I don't think it really did the book complete justice but that would be impossible anyway with only a couple hours. It was very good, though.

Just like the book it was darker. There was some humor in it *thanks to Fred, George, Ron and Snape* but all in all its a much darker film. Was a lot more emotion in this one...

Yeah, they also missed out some key stuff with Rita Skeeter, Doby, Snape, etc... I would've stayed another hour tbh to see the stuff they had to cut ;)

BTW, he didn't have a nose because you touch yourself at night. Someone had to say it.

Well, they just changed things around is all, and added a few things, subtracted.. All stuff they always do of course.. You kind of expect it... Still, all in all, the movie was very good, can't wait to see it again :)

If you read it, it'll save you depression. So you wont have to be so sad and cry over it when it happens in the book. I say get the sadness over with :P

BTW: Im sure i'll cry when I see it happening in the movie. That moment where harry leans over his/her corpse and cries like a baby, and everyone around him is crying as well... That part is going to be extremely emotional...

(read the spoiler to find out who dies :P)
