On my lock I cause the most damage generally in the battleground, though nearly every other class can pose a challenge to it. On my Pally I'm much more rounded, and focus on healing and buffing, protecting the flag carrier or node.
My lock can die fast but my dots are very strong and give my opponents something to think about :P My pally typically dies maybe once or twice a battleground, though it can depend. I focus on heals instead of damage (not retribution spec).

It's cool though. I get 50-100k+ damage easily in WSG/AB (obviously depends on the time of the bg). People may kill me 5-10 times but I kill them more :wink_5: I do have improved howl of terror (instant aoe fear) which makes for some great ownage. BTW my lock is 49 as well.
Affliction Warlocks are more lethal in Battlegrounds/General PvP now than ever, though I still prefer the wannabe-Mage Destruction style :P
Yeah I love Affliction, though in the 50s I may change it up. Shadow damage ftw :winky:
