You can get a thankyou button, where it gives thanks to the poster and it appears like a post count. Although i could see that being abused too

i think its a cool idea with the credit system...like ...u guys from RZ build a shop where u can buy things like ... change name color ...or custom title color ...or things like this

It could be seen as promoting spam though - if someone is gonna get a certain amount of credits by posting they will spam until they have the required amount

i mean , for like 1 month ull get 1000 credits or sumthin like that ...and for 100 non-spam posts ull get like 100 or 200 Credits and so on ...

nah, but u could only earn points by ppl clicking a "thank you" button or sumthing
so posting alot would not work

yea, i've seen it on other forums and its always worked

they use the points to buy stuff from a shop like new colors, features n access to like an elite section or sumthing

There's nothing on the forum that can be used as an indication of how decent a person is, so I don't think a requirement of post count would work. I'm sure there's plenty of helpful people who've only posted a few hundred times. Also, it would give people another reason to spam rather than just having a larger post count :tp:

A shop system would pull ragezone down dramatically. Consider how many members there are here and with a shop how many changes would be made per minute.

Remember when we had that RPG system? The forum was almost unbrowsable.

I'm just remembering GunBound...that avatar system, where some things could only be bought for 'cash gold' and others for 'game gold' or CG.. but no, it's better to have it like it is, better to have everyone choose their own avatar, allows for more to be shown about a person from their choice of piccie ;)
