In the unlikely event that almost none of the Rz users/membres like the changes that occur, would you be able to back out of such a move after they have been implemented and make Rz a forum again or would you be tied down by legality issues?
If it keeps ragezone running then im for it.

Do the mods stay mods?
Do the super mods stay super mods?
Do you (Mental) stay as an admin?
Is this a merge or an absorption?
If yes to those questions then I'd go for it, if it keep ragezone alive.
every mod stays. and mental retains the domain name and brand name from what i understand.
Company 4 sure, will get some powers over forum, n i dont think they allow all server development stuff, not to mention run illegal server like weve done b4...

N tbh, we dont need info on mmogs since we already know wer to get it, only important thing is if that meging will report benefits or will get free hosting 4 servers n stuff...
Also if it is a company, its looking to get some profit, just having a BIG community wont give money, so if they r interested on this comm, they probly plan to get benefits from their members, in wot way would they try to?

Anyone here remember the station "TechTV" remember how elite (the leet version would fit better imho) it used to be? Now think of G4TV taking it over, and all the elite people leaving, and now the station sucks more than a Hoover vacuum. G4 took over, TechTV was killed, not "merged" as all their loyal fans were told. As long as the "merger" would just mean "Same shit as before, just more support" and not more like the corp being like "I'm yo' boss, bitch! SHUT THAT SHIT DOOOWN!" then I'd say go ahead, if you feel it's the best option.
Merge means "same shit as before, but even more stuff", not "same shit as before, just more support", that would be what we call an absorption.Quote:
