Kinetic energy and gravitational potential energy formulas are some of the first things you learn in an elementary physics course outside of vector stuff.
That said, if you can't solve this with the formulas, you should probably ask your teacher for help.
Code:
E_k = (mv^2)/2
E_p = mgh
where m is mass, v is velocity, g is the gravitational constant, and h is height.
I believe those are correct, more at Kinetic energy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia and Potential energy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Now go do your homework dammit.
