lol u guys are crying over someone being de-moded.... I never got this sort of attention when i was de-modded. Fact is that belive it or not... modding takes allot more than just browsing the forum and makeing a post every now n then.... You have to look at the sections that you don't care much for and check that theres no flaming amongs many other domestic arguments that people have. Just living as a 'lowly member' as you people like to call it is pretty relaxing.
Yeah it's nice to have loads of powers or whatever but belive it or not if your a mod you don't actually use them much (by that i mean if your a good mod). You issue warnings more than bans / temp bans etc.
Can tell you that when i was a super mod it was actually getting to be a bit of a pain in the ass due to me having to be on at least EVERY day doing at least one thing or whatever. I realised i didnt have the time n i was quite happy when mental decided to de-mod me. The reason he does it is to keep the whole system flowing! bringing new mods in brings a new enthusiasum which in some cases can be bad (over modding) but allot of the time results in a good thing where area's that used to be less regulated get set straight.
I know full well that if i asked mental if i could become a super mod again i could. Fact is i simply don't have the time for it at the moment and would rather just search the forums and post on interesting subjects. Leave all the hard work to the real mods :).
Mental knows what hes doing and its best that your trust in that.....

Yep ive been judging for new mods recently but i usually wait until it looks like things go to the dogs then just improve it, hence L2 and WOW, mainly thanks to karnage for beign such a nice guy..
But hell im allways looking for more Mods :p who knows, maybe YOU can be one oneday (yes.. YOU.. YOU READING.. YES YOU!!)

to MentaL: i dont want to be rude or something but some ppl here are really helpful with newbs u should take a look in that in all sections, Usually they get moded cuz they have 1k+ posts and they dont even know how they got them, im not telling u do this mental just a tip ^_^

I never agreed to be a mod for fame or popularity, believe it or not. In fact, if I do say so myself, I was well known enough by those that I still adore, whether they are here or not, always in my heart.
I never thought of myself as better than anyone, from being a regular user, a regular mod of rz mir3, to the community mod, to a Super Mod, to a normal user, to a Super Mod again, to my present state. Yes, I have a good amount of history :) Was a mod over a year, thanks in part to Solares, whom was quite the mod in his day as well.
It's not really a "pain in the ass" to be mod, unless you care for what you are doing; that is where it can get bad. I cared a lot, and at times, way too much for my own sake. For your sake. For RZ's sake. I kept up with everything that I could, even tried to understand mu *failed*. But times sure have changed and are changing every day!
Nothing personal to anyone at all, I just have a lot of stuff in my life now, more than ever; I could go on about that but it's probably no more different than most of my age have to deal with. It's very funny how fast things change, and even though you can still see your same reflection in the mirror, you have indeed changed; in mindset, ideals, heart, and plain ol' maturity.
It's just growing up; not necessarily moving on, just growing up. Things change, as aforementioned, I've changed a lot over the last few years, this last year the most. I've had to be a bit more selective about my life, about how I spend it; so that in turn is another reason why I moved on, just like many before me.
Forever? No one knows such a thing, and shouldn't. Not many can escape something they've been apart of, especially something they have been apart of nearly on a daily (hourly!) basis.
RaGEZONE will go into the direction that Mental sees fit. Ultimately, it is up to him to decide where he wants to take it. Is he going to continue to usher in a new generation of members to replace the old? Or will he try to get some old schoolers back in the mix with something for them? Or perhaps, continue as things are, which I could not. Up to him, and well, all of you. Just use your voice: politely but firmly; thats all I did.
So thanks guys, and to the three people that read all of this, thanks for listening. Lets hope for a better Ragezone.

As i said b4... mental is doing whats best for the community and becky is happy to go along with that.
As for me and neosparky not being as popular... Well thats mostly coz we went more and more quiet and didn't really get to know the new members. At the end of neo and me being super mods we hardely came onto the site coz we simply didnt have the time. Thats the reason both of us got demoded at the same time. No one really noticed coz as i said... we were both so quiet.
I like to think that me and neo as well as many of the older RZ mods and members helped really build RZ. And fact is that becky has done more than her share of building in the community.
I won't ever leave RZ (or at least not any time soon) as this will always be one of my original favorit site. I know neo wont be leaving any time soon either :). She doesent post much but belive me when i say she reads... AND SO DO I!!! And im sure so will becky :good:.

Well, I asked to be demodded, and was one of the most active mods so thats probably why you are seeing a different sort of fanfare as I have got to know a lot of the "newer" people and can't help but open my big fat mouth :P
