Well i work 6 days a week and the day i have of is Wednesday and work 10 hours a day, When i made the thread i had just got back from work.

So don't think your the only person on this planet who works.

So crying that you have nothing to do on Friday night is for what? My point was that you actually HAVE the night to be able to do things, i do not since i work through it.

FYI, 10 hours oooohhh big man, i do 13 - 18 hours. You would not have mentioned how many hours you worked if you weren't trying to somehow show off.

No all i was saying that none of my mates wanted to do anything and i get very bored if i stay at home for too long. doing security ain't exactly the most exhausting work.

Saturday Mid-Day here :P

Besides that, i were at a party with my old school mates.

Up at 5am, start work at 6am, finish at midnight. Do you realize that Security Guards CANNOT sit down? You try standing up for 17 hours a day. Not exhausting my ass. Even worse when I have to do that 2 days in a row.

People will not let us sit down while on duty cos they think we will get lazy and fall asleep. Then they expect us to chase after someone when they steal something. Fuck off, you try running after standing up all day.

To put it in perspective for you, i only get 30 mins break for lunch and 30 mins break for dinner. What happens when we get normal (morning tea/afternoon tea) breaks like everyone else? We get called lazy the moment we sit down for a break. Ever sat down for a coffee and see someone mouth the words "fucking lazy security guards" at the person next to them? It makes you mad and its embarrassing. But when the shit hits the fan we are the first people they run to. Hypocrites.

I absolutely hate my job though, can't wait till the end of this year wen i will be a fully qualified Network Admin so i can get an IT job.

Actually changed my opinion about security Guards ^^

My grandpa is a security guard at the local HP factory, and he's in pretty much the same situation as Rish. 12 hour shifts, underpaid, undervalued.
