Some people talk about taking things to far, this is one of those cases.
Like 3-4 months ago DTB and i spoke reguraly on MSN, we talked about all sorts of things, some beyond the usual chit chat, the convo's were pretty good actually, it showed way more intelligence then you see most of the time here on this forum.
I had no problems with him as a person, i considered him a friend, but things on the forums were different.
I moderated this place for a long time, this place has although it has a fair amount of moderators, still not much activity in the moderating, at that time it was just me, MentaL and Neo.
We all know MentaL, he never been a real talker, not like that, i never blaimed him for it, that's how he is, Neo is different, but she cares too much about other people, not that i don't have that, but she is different, she likes to keep peace, she likes it when everyone has this big smile on their face, and certainly when 2 people she know very well fight, she is clueless, she can't make a stand, i mean looking at it, she is threatening now to mass prune our accounts, i will never see her do that, and even if she does then it won't make a difference.
I can make a stand, it's because i do what i believe in, i don't care about what will happen next, well i do, but it never stopped me from doing something.
People always have been amazed about how i can stick to what i believe in, it's a big minor about me, but i have to do what i believe in, i always done that, and i will always do that.
The forum went out of control back then, i saw flaming everywhere, it would be impossible to moderate it all, i wouldn't be able to do it by myself, so except for Neo there wasn't really anyone that could really help me out with that, and she wasn't on much during those periods.
I could only count on myself, i figured if i could simply stop the crap from that point, and get the people who would try to start again that it would go right, and for the most part it did.
Some people are born to stop at some point, others don't, DTB is one of them, after him breaking several rules again i just had to ban him, if i wouldn't then all my work would of been for nothing, people expect a moderator to be unbiased, and i always tryed to be that way, i didn't wanted to ban him, but i had to do what i believed in, right now i would of done the same, and the whole staff agreed with me.
From that moment on DTB has just tryed to make everything as bad as possible, i decided to leave RZ for a while, hoping things would be normal again, but it wasn't, the very first post i made after weeks was already reason enough for him to flame me again, and he never tryed to not flame me, if it was me offering help to someone else, or sharing my opinion, it didn't matter, he could always came up with some insult, and if he couldn't think of a good one then he just repeated the same one he used many times.
You know, not once did i started flaming him, i never done that because i knew that if i would do that then he would just make things much worse.
Some people have decided to take a low profile into this, i got some respect now for Nik-C, because we are very different at many points, but he still stopped flaming me.
Some people share my view, others don't, but the question is do they share his view? Or do they just love the flames?
People like fights, people like trouble, just aslong it doesn't involve them, well i can tell you that i'm not one of them, i never liked fighting, but i however do get in ones, but that's because i won't ignore things.
When you watch a program like big brother then everyone is waiting for a fight, it's what makes things entertaining, but you have to come to a point where you have to ask yourself if it's still entertaining? Is it really entertaining when i offer help to someone, and that he flames me for a "fucking pervert"? Is that really funny? I mean the world is fucked, why not convert your anger to someone that asks for it, or do i have a note on my back that says "flame me"?
Some people just take things to far, DTB is one of them, which i why i had to ban him a few months ago, there was no other reason behind it, i didn't liked banning him, he had a point, but HE TOOK THINGS TO FAR...
I was a forum moderator, not a judge, we got rules here, everyone is expected to keep themselfs to it, and it isn't a big deal when you break 1 once in a while, we all make mistakes, but when you keep making mistakes even when you are aware of it, then things have to change.
Like i said, i wasn't a judge, even when his childish flaming was going on, he was simply still my friend, and i still talked with him on msn, and i had no intention of changing that, but he did, the second i banned him.
I'm not going to ask anyone to do something, i'm not asking you to turn against him or whatever, decide yourself what you want to do, but just ask yourself everytime when a flame is made, if it was really needed.
I have no intentions to make things up with him, it's far to late for that, however, like always, i will never start things, but i will end them.

Can you two just start a MSN conversation and talk and talk, etc????? Look at me, mental banned me 3 times, and have no anger towards him, though I was wrong for what I did.
Don't know what else to say, other then you 2 get some free time, open a msn window and just start chatting for awhile, thats what I do in "hostile" conditions.

It's like this, you got your main account banned, then you had 3 more banned each for breaking a rule again, so i could do 2 things, just ban you right away, or make your 1 flaming post and then ban you again, now i don't know about you, but that doesn't work for me, i gave you plenty of chances, and you all threw them in my face, when you make 3 more accounts who flame me right away, then can you truely believe you will still get the same treatment?
