Random users might not respect each other, but that's more than likely why they won't be a part of the staff if they don't change that attitude. As a staff member you should be treating everyone with atleast respect. Granted not everyone is equal on RZ, the legends(ie not 03's) will always be above random users. Get used to it. I will never be the same as DTB because he was here before me, so what? You might not respect the 03's but frankly without their support this forum wouldn't exist. Much as I hate the saying, respect your elders works in this case.

And, I'm sorry my view on equality and respect differs from yours, I'm not going out of my way to revamp my personality for a website. And if you're unhappy with that, and you want me to be like that, and completely change who I am, you can take away my damn staff position.
I don't give 2 shits whether you may think an 03'er deserves more respect and that their well-being should be placed above other members. In my opinion, that is the worst way to think about operating/moderating a community.
If some Dec 08er fucked up in this section, I'd close the thread and warn them. If Johnny1, DTB or Sipher fucked up in this seciton, I would do exactly the same. Since when did a number dictate equality and superiority?
To be honest, my moderating in my opinion is fair. For example. the guy who created the thread trying to put someone up for a flame, I closed the thread and gave him a verbal warning. I rarely give infractions, depending on the severity, but more often on their history of warnings. I can state whatever opinion I have here, and yes, it'll make some people feel ofended, others will agree, others will not understand, and the rest won't care. Thus is the freedom of the internet. But for you to tell me I have an attitude problem that contrasts with the idealistic moderator's image? That's ridiculous.
Btw, if I was pissy with you, I would've pm'ed you, not bring out all in the open like this. Though, you only did that to demonstrate how respectful you were, right?
