I disagree, I think the problem lies with the depressingly low IQ of many users. Which leads to many threads being ruined simply because they don't have a clue what the hell is going on.

At least there are less people who leave their stupid and pointless comments in every topic per section... they morphed into trying to fit ones who think that their single comments will make them famous.
From my perspective, I'm seeing that the forum has got worse since the new 3.7x features of vBulletin were added to RaGEZONE. In about the first hour of the upgrade, there were like over 100 pointless groups, and more were added. It's not only this section though, retards posting other crap in the MMORPG, and Outerworld sections.
