I do treat them diffrently. Granted I will infract a legend if they go ott, but they will have to go seriously ott to piss me off...
It's exactly the same with mods. They have a wide margin with the rules, but if they go too far I will make my opinion known :p
I know it's not really how most mods act, but it's how I prefer to act. I know legends have been here and frankly they have the rank for a reason, I might not know why but they have gained Dans/Lees respect and that's good enough for me. It's a joke how easy it is to become a mod, but its hard to become a legend.
Look at kaoii, he had no real respect for the old schoolers and look what happened there.

This is the "Post-a-holics section. Its only for fun. Actually, i dont really mind them. But i also DO mind them at the same time.
I also think it's do to the lax modding styles. Sure in this section you can pretty much post whatever. But I'm seeing so much spam in every other section. (I admit even in mine)
These new users join, and start posting shit all over, and the only thing that really happens is they get flammed to shit. Well the next time someone else posts shit all over guess what, that person will join in on the flaming.
Another factor is we did lose a lot of good members. Sadly most of the people posting in this thread have no clue who I'm even talking about. Times change and you have to change with it, because if you don't you crash and burn.
So instead of asking why are there are so many "retards," the question should be what can we do to fix it.

My main problem atm:
Mods can't do anything, infractions are worthless since the system was changed...
Infractions changes::
5 = temp until 1 runs out, used to be 3= temp, 5 = perm.
Max time for an normal infraction is now 14 days, used to be 30+ish.
In my eyes if you get 5 points in 14 days you should get some sort of ban for longer than a few days...
That combined with mods less likely to infract users make them pointless.
I know Mental wanted us to infract less than when Kaoii was around but now it's gone way to far the other way...

I could be one of these people that this topic is directed at and frankly I don't give a shit what people over the internet think about me.

I was around this forum way back but I was very young and always forgot my password to things but I would laugh my ass off whenever I went to the spamzilla section tru dat.
So I agree with this topic but I seriously doubt that this thread will make a difference unless the mods in this section crack down on pointless topics such as happy whatever holiday it is every time theres a holiday, especially if people have already made several topics mentioning the same thing.

Back when Kaoii was HSM he use to rule with the Iron Fist. Hence why things are so much different now then when he was around. Sure he was to stricked for most peoples liking but at the end of the day he made sure people never fell outta line.
