Omg. Difficult to imagine someone's never touched snow. How would I describe it... First of all it depends on the temperature, but let's say in general it's somewhat like cold, lightweight sand that packs up if you squeeze it and it becomes wet on the surface as soon as you touch it. When you push your hand into snow, it doesn't escape on the sides like sand does, instead most of it is squeezed together on the bottom in the direction you're pushing it to. The colder it is, the lighter the snow is and the more difficult it becomes to make snowballs. When it's around 0C (32F) it's very heavy, quite unpleasant to play around with as it wets everything, but good to make very annoying balls to throw at your friends with.Quote:
