I&S is right, so is Pieman. This happened last summer right after I registered, and according to what people said it happened summer 2006. It'll happen next year too. This will start to clear up around September, or October at the latest.

Well, yeah as much as i've been here lately im seeing alot more out of the place threads indeed. But it's not in my power to do something about it, and i could not think of a better reason why it got to this far, I&S said it, as other's already said it before.
And some people are just making random threads to gain posts, isn't it? =)
Hoping im making any sense =). Haven't written in English for quite long time now.

This forum is getting more and more strict and the more rules are placed, the less freedom people will have and then the outerworld will become even more useless than it already is, Spamzilla will be the only place that people can semi-talk their mind until the rules move onto that section etc... Some moderators seriously need to lighten the fuck up, Exclamatio is one of the most light-hearted and cheerful Mods I've seen and I really wish the others would take a few pointers from him since a lot of the newer ones are hard asses who think this is a 1940's boot camp.

Sure it's good to be strict at times but there's no need to be stuck in power-trip mode for the entire time, Negata for example was a good example of this, he could be strict and knew the rules but he also had one wicked sense of humour and in my opinion was a good role model.

I would say more but I really don't feel like being infracted for speaking my mind. Also this isn't an insult towards you JC and it's not meant to be sarcastic/insulting in any way, I'm just saying what needs to be said.
Ah what can I say, I really can't speak for everyone else except for myself really. But I do agree with what you've said, I guess though thats the downside to having so many mixed personalities within the staff.

After what you've said though, to me this just seems to be a double edged sword situation. Because if your not stricked enough then people will just run riot doing whatever they feel like, and if your to stricked then people will threat to post because they don't know what should belong here. So long story short its about finding that perfect balance which is difficult to find, as it usually develops from alot of "trial an error". I shouldn't really carry on speaking about this though out in the general public.

Whats the best way to solve a problem on a big community based forum such as this one ? Fairly simple really, through spreading the word by form of Action. If people put in the effort to start to bring back great quality to the forum then little by little the community will catch on and start doing the same . (well hopefully)

Oh and I'm fully aware your not trying to have a dig at me mate :P. The fact that people feel threatened to speak there mind is just horrible to be honest. Theres nothing wrong with it at all, unless its abusive. And constructive criticism doesn't fall under the category of being abusive.
