Well now, I see lightwarrior likes to put words in my mouth. On the msn chat all I said was that the rhythms were "basic" there was no implification of the music being "emo" in ANY way. I'm not a big fan of people who like to have their point across, so I'm going to say this once.
The band is not emo, it's just not something I'd listen to. period.
I didn't know there was such a thing as emo music... :eh: Please show me some so i know what it sounds like for future references.

This is nu metal for me you can tell by the beat the guitar play the way he sings.

Motion City Soundtrack isn't emo. Their singer just sounds emo. But really, they are more of this new Alternative sound that I've been hearing a lot about. Another band you might want to check out is called Nural. Just thought you might want to explore this new genre. It's quite good and I've been listening to quite a few bands that have this new sound.

Try ummm My Chemical Romance...Hawthorne Heights...Silverstein...there are a lot of emo/screamo bands.
