in a world becoming more and more reliant on technology a hand written note can be more power and/or touching than ever
in terms of a salesman for example, it can mean the difference between no repeat sales and a lifetime customer

True, say 10 years ago people were impressed when you typed something and printed that, now it's the other way around as most people are to lazy to write something.
Very true. In fact, I recieved a personal hand written letter from my University while I was still in the application process and it really won me over. None of my other uni choices sent me anything but streams of useless leaflets.
Still, the average modern man off the street need not be a master calligrapher .
I write like a girl, don't think that's a good thing either.
ShyNemo... aren't you a girl? o.o
And GohanSSJ,
It's so true. o.o I would sig it. But I won't. ><Quote:

I have a very strange style, it's quasi-cursive in that I use curly letters that would seem they are about to be joined up only to make them all singular. My g and y look so similar, and q but the tail kicks the other way. The only way I can tell them part is the rest of the word, but I don't think there are many if any words that a g or y changes the meaning.
That said I don't think it's particularly hard to read, I can always make sense of it. Thankfully not many people ever read what I write anyway, and when they do it's normally in caps anyway. I can't write in caps, makes my letters look totally stupid!
Tbh I'm surprised no one has made a printer what acts like a pen on paper, I used to have a signature which I made using some font I found and then modified to look like a real signature. I think that's what everyone's forum sig should contain really :p
I'll try the printer trick for my signature, even tough mine is quite good. Thanks Bob ^^
Mine looks like.............. a 1700 manuscript people say, but I don't see how it does. Part of it is half- connected to each other while the rest just looks fancy.
I'd say mine is about average. People don't have a problem reading it. The style itself looks pretty bad though xD
Mine's horrible... I was told to always type assignments in school because of it. Nobody could read it.
Mine is above average I guess, everyone says it's really good for a boy lol
mine sux bad.
My handwriting is so bad my 9 year old sister has better hand writing then me :S
Don't have a steady and at all my handwriting is shit and cant draw either, too many martial arts related injuries since a young age, cant keep my hand steady for anything.
mines so bad that most people cant read it and half the time i struggle to read it lol
