Even though I am a Evangelical Christian I cannot advocate that type of ministry. It seems that this camp is leaving the realm of religious freedom/gathering and moving into the realm of indoctrination and ideology. The following observations are based on the reviews and videos on their website. I have not been there in person so I can not say anything for definite

They are making several flaws in there methods of promoting Christianity. Instead of simply dismissing controversial subjects such as Evolution and other scientific theories as wrong. They need to educate the kids on both Evolution and Intelligent Design. Pointing out the weak and strong points in both theories and then let the children decide which seems more accurate. Education is knowledge and knowledge is power, when one simply ignores many areas of education it can be harmful for the children when they grow up and get into the mainstream world.

P.S In my honest opinion "speaking in tongues" is equivalent to mumbling.

When I saw that, any credibility they had left (which was an extremely low ammount already) was completely erased.

Seen the movie just now and it was pretty weird. The movie did make me think about my own beliefs and values a lot so I wouldn't call it a waste of time.

i watched the whole thing and its quite odd. effectively theyre teaching kids that if it isnt jesus then it doesnt exist, god has done everything and he makes all the decisions. at one point that woman says that sinners are not allowed to believe in jesus and then askes people of they have sinned and then thoes who have are forced to be ''washed'' to get rid of their sins.

satan also seems to be the cause of anythign bad. if someone swaers its satans fault. abortion is also the work of satan, along with harry potter. 2 kids were asked abot harry potter and both said they werent allowed to watch the films or read the books as it was against god which means parents are having a big part in what their children believe in. if the kids want to go to church and stuff then let them but if theyre forced to go to church or that crappy camp then they should be able to make their own choices.

Awesome movie. Hated the people. They are the type of religious people i hate. Well one type. Those and the ones who believe, but got no clue what they believe in. My views on religion are in my blog so i won't be writing them here. too lazy :P
