I've seen the trailer of Green Lantern and by watching the trailer it was really to be expected as awesome.
But then I've just notice suppose to be Green Lantern is black.

The best film for me has to be - Battle: Los Angles IMO.

I saw the trailer for this, I think if nothing else it is a creative idea. The plot is based on an age-old tail but from the trailer you can tell they really put their own twist on it. It will either be funny and clever or just some nice cg work...

No he doesn't. Green Lantern isn't just 1 person, there are like 6, 1 of them being black. This Green Lantern is the original, Hal Jordan, who's white.

Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) on the Marvel end, is black though even though he's supposed to be white.

Correction, there are/were 5 of them that were responsible for earth and other areas and a shitload more that policed the galaxy as part of the green lantern corp.

The marvel univers that the new films have been based on is the ultimate universe in which Nick Fury is black and at one point even says that if any actor were to play him it would be samuel jackson, this was before the films came out =P

Jade wasn't actually a green lantern in charge of earth, she just comes from there and was born with powers that resemble green lantern powers, it was later on that she became a fully fledged green lantern and part of the corp but the current earth green lantern is kyle rayner.
